JIAHERB, the leading global manufacturer of natural ingredients and botanical extracts announced today the completion of its new Lab and Research & Development Building in China. After two years of planning, the company moved to the facility on October 8th, 2024, representing a significant investment toward innovation and growth in manufacturing premium ingredients.
The new building spans 11 floors and has over 140,000 square feet designed to meet and exceed the needs of the company’s R&D efforts. The state-of-the-art facility integrates multiple departments under one roof including R&D, QA/QC labs, accounting and purchasing, sales and marketing, logistics, dining, and meeting spaces.
The building's strategic consolidation will foster collaboration across departments for more efficient project management, drive innovation, and deliver superior ingredients worldwide. The integrated approach ensures that quality control is maintained at every stage of production and testing labs can work closely with R&D teams to deliver innovative ingredients and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key attributes of the building include:
R&D Department: Occupying 3 and extending across almost 40,000 square feet. This area of the facility is dedicated to advancing innovation in herbal extract development.
Testing Labs: Occupying an additional 3 floors and covering over 30,000 square feet of the facility, the testing labs have advanced equipment and technologies to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety for all ingredients. Over $6 million has been invested in equipment, with more than 1,800 quality tests conducted daily.
The new facility enables JIAHERB to respond swiftly to customer needs, adapt to emerging market trends,and consistently deliver high quality products more efficiently on a global scale.
